ABOUT US
Eric Andresen, Secretary
Eric Andresen is a partner at Andresen & Associates, a family-run investment firm focused on low-risk, long-term investing for licensed fiduciaries. Before transitioning into finance, he was a co-founder of Context, a data-analytics startup, and a software engineer and product manager at early-stage companies ranging from e-commerce to mental health.
Eric is also a coach for CSUMB’s business accelerator program, Launch Pad, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Monterey Bay Air Resources District. Born and raised in Salinas, he’s passionate about how to use technology and business to design a sustainable future for Monterey County.
Most people will come face to face with the Foundation’s mission, enabling dignified end-of-life care through community-based programs. But it is the way it accomplishes this mission that is so incredible.
Rather than simply funding what it thinks are the most important organizations, it begins with listening. Priorities are dictated by dialogue with care providers, community leaders, and patients. And solutions go beyond the financial to facilitating targeted interventions toward an integrated system of care.
I feel the foundation’s mission personally, but I’m proud to call myself a board member because our impact is rooted in understanding and caring for our community.
