Valerie Ghio

Cynthia was born in Oakland, California, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. After high school, she followed her passion for pursuing a career in the dental field. Subsequently, Cynthia graduated from college and earned her RDHEF degree in dental hygiene, taking her on a career path working with professors of dentistry from UCLA and USC in Los Angeles. After getting married, she moved to Monterey, California, where she practiced dental hygiene part-time and raised a family. Cynthia has two wonderful children: Scott, a CPA living in Austin, Texas, and Hilary, a tech recruiter living in San Francisco. Cynthia has always been an ardent participant in community organizations, including the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Co-chair for the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish for 16 years, the Monterey Jazz Festival, and serving as a Board Director for CASA of Monterey County. Now retired and living in Pebble Beach, Cynthia is married to William, an estate planning attorney in Saratoga, California. Her passions include global travel, tennis, and lots of physical fitness.
