The Party, February 22, 2020 Hospice Giving Foundation's The Party held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 was an elegant evening of cocktails, gourmet food, wine, MC Dan Green, the comedy of Chris Garcia, dancing to the Money Band, and dedications to those we love who have passed away at the beautiful Monterey Peninsula Country Club benefiting end-of-life care, services, resources, and preparedness in our community.
Juntos con Esperanza hosted our third community outreach event on January 31, 2020 at Holy Trinity Church, Greenfield More than 100 people (children to grandparents) attended our third community outreach event focusing on conversations about death and dying using the GoWish Card Game in Spanish and English. Facilitators at each of the participant tables guided attendees in the use of the cards and shared their table’s top three choices for
Hospice Giving Foundation’s Discover HOPEGives Community Experience held at Hidden Valley Music Seminars, Carmel Valley on Saturday, January 11, 2020 featured great conversations, family friendly activities and crafts, information and resources, and learning about end-of-life care from local doctors. Some participants explored deeper during a 4-hour workshop, GRIEF TO BEAUTY Creating Earth Altars to Honor our Lives and Death with Day Schildkret of Morning Altars.
