“I was first exposed to Hospice Care when my dad was passing away in December 2022. I saw the importance of hospice workers and realized the work is noble, yet difficult. After my dad passed, I was sent a job description for Director of Philanthropy with Hospice Giving Foundation. Though I was not actively looking for a new job, I knew I was not in a position to turn the opportunity down. I met Siobhan and Mary and immediately felt a sense of fellowship. Working for Hospice Giving Foundation is one of the most fulfilling opportunities I have received. Though it is sometimes difficult to be constantly facing grief and death, it fills me with pride to work alongside a team that empowers one another in every aspect of the job.”
