“Early one Sunday morning in 2011, my dad was gunned down as he was leaving home to go to work. This loss left me with a lot questions, emptiness and a great sense of responsibility to let others know about all the resources available in the community that help you through your most difficult times. As a journalist my duty is not only to inform, but to educate the Spanish-speaking population in everything related to their health and well-being. My mission in life is to serve those in need using my communication skills and what better opportunity than to do it through HG Foundation.”
