Jenny DeVries, Director of Philanthropy

Jenny DeVries is the Director of Philanthropy at Hospice Giving Foundation, where she leads efforts to build meaningful relationships, strengthen community engagement, and advance philanthropic support for hospice and palliative care.

Jenny brings a broad background in nonprofit development, with experience spanning major gifts, business partnerships, community development, and multi-channel fundraising campaigns. Prior to joining Hospice Giving Foundation, she held development leadership roles at Digital NEST and Goodwill of Colorado, where she built relationships across the business and community sectors and helped secure transformational philanthropic investments, including eight-figure gifts. Her approach to fundraising centers on connecting people, purpose, and opportunity to create lasting impact.

In her free time, Jenny enjoys walking on the beach with her dog, reading, painting, and traveling the world.

As my grandparents aged, I watched my parents become caregivers and saw how those responsibilities could strain family relationships. When hospice became involved, I witnessed something powerful: my mom was able to return to being a daughter, and that shift brought healing and connection back into her relationship with her parents. It showed me just how necessary hospice and palliative care are—and how important it is for families to access that support sooner. The role of HG Foundation is clear: to help ensure our community understands the resources available to them and to support the care that makes these moments possible.
