Alex Black

Alex Black is a new board member of Hospice Giving Foundation, driven by a deep commitment to ensuring individuals can pass with dignity. His background as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional with Integris Wealth Management has given him a unique perspective on the importance of having the right plan in place for life’s most significant transitions. He believes that just as a financial plan provides a blueprint for an individual’s financial life, comprehensive end-of-life care provides a roadmap for a peaceful and dignified final journey.

His dedication to the senior community extends beyond hospice care. Alex also serves as the treasurer on the board for Legal Services for Seniors, a position he has held since 2022. This role reinforces his commitment to supporting a dignified quality of life for seniors in Monterey County.

Alex first became involved with the Foundation after personally witnessing the comfort and support that compassionate, well-planned care can provide. He is honored to contribute to Hospice Giving Foundation’s mission of ensuring all residents of Monterey County have access to the resources and support needed to live their final chapter with peace and dignity.

A Santa Cruz/Monterey native, Alex now resides in the area. When not working or serving the community, you can find him outdoors, enjoying hobbies like surfing, golfing, and spending time with his dog Odin.
