Hospice Giving Foundation’s Annual Tree of Life Celebration held at the Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay on Sunday, December 10, 2017. The event featured festive live music from the Defense Language Institute Choir and Carmel Middle School Choir, inspirational poetry readings – poems by Lenore Meyer, read by Dale Meyer, an invocation by the Rev. Jeffrey Lewis, St. Mary’s by the Sea, Pacific Grove and a ceremonial tree lighting atop the Monterey Marriott Hotel with Master of Ceremonies, Ben Beesley.
